Horsetail Fall, Yosemite National Park 2/11/17

The Firefall is a natural phenomenon that occurs during a few select weeks in February, only if a few conditions are met. Horsetail Fall is on the eastern face of El Capitan and if there is enough snow melt, it will start flowing. On a mostly clear day the alignment of the setting sun will illuminate the falls and make it appear as if a lava flow is cascading down into the valley below.

Fine Art C-Print with an Acrylic Mounted Floating Frame

This print is processed as an archival C-Print (Chromogenic Print) on Fuji Crystal Archive paper which is then face mounted to ¼” acrylic glass. This method of finishing is of museum and exhibition quality producing a stunning final assembly for your home, office or gallery. Each print is naturally protected from ultraviolet light due to the properties of acrylic glass. The final assembly is finished with a ⅛” Dibond backer to keep the piece rigid. The floating appearance is achieved by the attached subframe which sets the piece off the wall.

Turnaround time for Acrylic Mounted Pieces is 4-5 weeks.

Acrylic Mounted Pieces include:
• C-Print face mounted to ¼” Acrylic Glass with ⅛” Dibond Backer
